If you engage in psychotherapy services with me I will share with you how I use and protect any data I hold for you in a separate agreement for our psychotherapy arrangement.
The following privacy notice is based on UK GDPR and Data Protection Law (DPA 2018). Information can also be obtained from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

This privacy notice applies to your use of this website and sets out the terms on which I process any personal data I collect from you or that you provide to me through the website. By using this website, you agree to such processing and you confirm that all data provided by you is accurate. This website may contain links to other websites. This privacy notice only applies to this website so when you link to other websites you should read their privacy policies.
Website Cookies
Website usage data is collected through cookies for viewing within Google Analytics. This does not gather any identifying personal information about the website visitor except statistical information. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

Protecting your data
The website has an active SSL certificate, so all information entered into the contact form is encrypted whilst being sent to me over HTTPS. The website has specific hosting solutions in place and the third parties I use are abiding to the GDPR.
Your information/What I collect from you
I collect information such as your name, telephone number, email address and any general enquiry you wish to enter when you provide it to me via the website.
Your agreement is given for me to store this personal information, which I will only use for purposes in relation to the provision of psychotherapy services to you..
Reason for storing your data
I use legitimate interests as an appropriate lawful basis for holding and using your personal information. Your data is accessible only to myself in order to perform my role as a psychotherapist. Your data is stored securely and where possible, anonymised.
Data retention period
Personal data provided by you is retained – and anonymised where possible – securely for the duration of the therapy contract. Confidentiality is of utmost importance and your details will not be shared with a third party unless you request them to be or it is required by law. Data is retained securely for a period of six years after the end of therapy for legitimate interests only. You have a right to request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example, if you feel your data is being used inappropriately.
Your data protection rights (UK GDPR)
Under data protection law (DPA 2018), you have rights including:
- Your right of access: you have the right to ask for copies of your personal data.
- Your right to rectification: you have the right to ask me to rectify personal data you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure: you have the right to ask me to erase your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Your right to data portability: you have the right to ask that I transfer the personal data you have given me to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
